False Edifice

      Around her and thwart,
She saw fair faces and unfair hearts,
And the illusions of existence, that'd burst,
The ardor of yearning, turning into dust,
Reminiscing those voices, the silence...the baci,
She wandered alone on the streets of Karachi,
With the whispers of a dying seedling she'd embraced,
And the roars that desertion left no trace,
Roars that said, in a false extase,
"If you suffer a love so mad.
you will know, love can die a death like that."

Diary of An Old Friend



"I can't be around people. I want to be the first one to walk out. I want to feel the burden." I thought and closed my eyes so that I'd see nothing. Life seemed a lot better with eyes closed. But, then I have to look up, I saw the moon and I saw beyond that....into the endless skies and the thought of stars, planets and galaxies came to me. I saw the clouds covering and uncovering  the moon. Flowing like smoke. Probably, we have clouds in our heads that cover and uncover the shining light. We only see it for a part of time. To reach it, we have got to be above the clouds. Hot summer night and pleasant wind touching my face. I wish I could drift away with it. I have strange fantasies about vanishing. That someday I'd disappear completely.no Facebook, no twitter or whats app, no physical existence..just a name, a memory of past. I can be no one, I can be nothing but ashes or dust. People won't know where I went, they'd just know I am no longer here. I don't subscribe to the idea of human interdependence. What grudge do I have against social networking sites?  Social networking sites are a platform where you market/sell yourself, they make you give an impression that you are always winning, while in real life you are possibly having the hardest or the most embarrassing times of life. All you create on these sites is an impression...a false projection.

This night is turning out to be a reminder of how much I hate people. Look at the alphabets, look at the numbers. Look at 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9...single alphabets and single numbers make no sense..or a limited sense, so we put them together. Single humans on their own make enough sense still, we put them together, well to make more sense I guess. Thought of every mind is 'why can't everyone be loved and cared?..why can't we have someone to adore us completely or why can't one be understood without any utterance of alphabets formed into words that would never say the confused emotions of the inside. If we were able to do so, wouldn't we become God? Humans covet attributes of God. They..no, we..we want to be able to see the whole world in one sight, be able to know what's in other's heart, be able to take control of one's life, be able to make things right for the loved ones, be on top..top of everything. Humans adore God, as much as they ignore God.

It is said that "insan sirf apna hota hai", then why are we so dependent? Why we live together and look after others when eventually all we do is think about ourselves only. I don't know whether to question or to support the sociality of human nature. People would say, 'no we no longer know who she is..perhaps a depressing silence'.

Burma Killing - Muslims sleep while Muslims get slayed.

To tell a little about Burma, it is a country in Asia, bordered by India, China, Bangladesh, Thailand and Laos. It is a Buddhist state which has a Muslim minority who migrated from the neighboring countries, mostly during the British rule back in 1921. Muslim minority in Burma has been suppressed by the Buddhist on the basis of their beliefs. The initiation point of this bigotry is suggested to be the Islamic way of killing a cattle which was first banned in 1500 Ad. Then later in 17th century, four prominent Muslim Imams were killed by the Burmese king after they refused to eat pork. Persecution and killing of Muslims has been going on ever since. The 969 group who is held responsible for Muslim oppression and killing in Burma is led by Ashin Wirathu, a monk.Yes, a MONK...and like every other Muslim I'd give myself a little freedom to question that whether the world would regard monks as terrorist as well? and would Buddhism would be regarded as a religion of violence, terror and discrimination? Yesterday, I read a story on Burma killing by BBC and whoever wrote it, clearly stated that 'aggressive thoughts are inimical to Buddhism' and that Buddhism is a religion of peace...it is useless to tell them that so is Islam. But these puppet channels would never write a defensive comment about Islam and who we are to blame them when Muslims all over the world are doing nothing to protect their name, their ideology. It is an ironic joke to watch media haste to post about Hamza Ali Abbasi's recent status but not take the trouble of promulgating the relentless killing of Muslims in Burma.

Wisdom would never accuse any religion for invigorating terrorism. A sage would never declare a Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Jew etc as a terrorist. He would know terrorism is a wild thing present inside every human either starved or nurtured. Because this is our truth..human is the peace makers, human is the terrorist, there is nothing else to blame.

The hadith I mentioned above tells us how we Muslims should feel about this massacre. We should be sleepless, we should be praying, we should be feeling their agony, our souls should tremble at the thought of it but none of it will happen with the state of Iman we have.  We must return to ourselves, we must embrace our identity.
