Estimates suggest there are three to eight thousands languages in the world, where many languages have dialects too, how many words....i guess they have never dared to count and how many times we are lost for words? when we don't exactly know how this particular situation of us can be put into words..its the inability of expression that speaks.
I really wonder where all the languages originated from, if I go searching for it on the internet they seem more lost than me. What do they do is pick up each word then dive into the deep seas of world history, start in reverse and ultimately reach to an end which has again, no origin. But as a Muslim I believe the idea of language came from Holy books, the language of God. First language to be spoken on this earth is another controversial subject, Arabic was the first answer that occured to me. But what the first persons on the earth, Hazrat Adam (A.S) and mother Eve had spoken? A single language was not used by all messengers of ALLAH.
I have two problems, one is I dream a lot, not daydreaming but the real one, other is I rarely forget my dreams. A few times I dreamed that I am speaking words that don't exist in real and I can't communicate in that language when I wake up because nobody would understand me, these languages are sometimes a burden too, we have to be according to them otherwise, a disaster. Languages are for the expression, i feel they can limit that as well. We haven't mastered ourselves yet, we just cannot properly comprehend our own form. What are the ways other than language to speak our mind and heart, drawings, melodies, silence? I am not sure cause no matter what we do expression can never attain perfection unless one seeks divinity. Look inside or look around, everywhere His perfection enunciates our imperfection. I assume ALLAH has intentionally left us inexpressible in our few aspects, inexpressible is not the right word, ALLAH has kept them profound just as a possessor keeps some authority over his possessions.
If I am feeling deserted, nobody else would feel it the same way as mine unless he or she becomes a piece of land and suffers an earthquake, a storm or any calamity, and I wonder when a body dances what a soul wants to speak? are there any words for body language? a language for a language?
