Me Against Sick Mentality!
"I wish I could look into your heart. To believe what you say is true…you don’t know how much I want to believe you but I can’t smother my fears, my insecurities. What makes us apart is this inability of mine to believe you really mean what you say".
Sounds quite romantic right? Well to your disappointment or
to your relief it is not going to continue the way it started. What I am here
to talk about is something that has been a real pain in people’s asses that is
other people’s shitty thoughts..!! I never thought I’d write something of this
sort on my blog but a few people really asked me to write on it. I feel life
would have been much simpler had things been taken just the way they were. This
blog is not for my innocent, pure, simple-minded fellows, I love you guys for
being so easy going like an old shoe or hat which gives a sense of comfort. It
is for the people whose big tongues can wag big time on other people’s
business. It’s for all my dear gossip queens, busybodies who cannot keep their
noses out of other’s stuff. Still wondering who are they?
1. They doubt the simplicity of people.
2. Can’t help perceiving a situation as more complicated.
3. They are always judging other people’s character.
4. They are way too good at running smear campaigns.
5. They are conceited and vain.
6. They can’t help comparing; they think that ‘unki friend
ki baho ki khala ka beta/beti’ is doing far better than us.
The auntie whose dialogues are quoted above never married that
sweet fellow because she couldn't get things straight. There are various
examples from everyday life that show ‘Sick-mentality
is in the air’.
A friend told me, “Once I invited a cousin
who is like a brother to me to a college event. When I was showing him around
everyone gave suggestive looks at the sight of us. My friend overheard my batch mates saying “*name* ko to dekho, ye to esi nhi lagti thi”.
Since my cousin is really handsome, I didn't mind that at all :p”
Thinking about the difference that this existence of sick
mentality makes, I asked many of my friends to tell me at least one thing they
would have done had there been no such thing, here are their interesting
replies,
A says, ‘I would have told my friends I smoke sheesha’.
B says, ‘I’d have stopped pretending to be single,
introduced my boy friend to my whole group and also would have taken crazy
pictures with him everywhere ;D ’
C says, ‘I would not have kept my nikah a secret in my college years '.
D says, ‘I wouldn't have customized my relatives from
viewing my ‘friends photos’.
E says, ‘I’d have joined YSR= youth social reformer’
F says, ‘those who can’t help giving their lame suggestions,
I’d have told them that they are too good for me so please save them for your
daughters’.
And here is the girl who made freaking awesome contributions
to this blog :D
1. I’d have told people being single is not cool, it’s such heartache.
2. I’d have told my cousin that I have no interest whether Miley Cyrus went as a stripper in some VGA show neither I am interested in her picture on her charity t-shirt which clearly reflects her own dire need of charity (don't know what I am talking about? google it!).
3. Back in sixth grade I’d have told my best friend the real reason of smiling that I had a weird dream of kissing a cute fat guy (don’t give me that look it was fascinating in that age).
4. I’d would have attended my guests in trouser and t-shirt because I am not comfortable in any other clothing.
5. I would have told my cousins who live outside Karachi
that I've never really been to those cool places and that they have seen more
of Karachi than me.
Sounds fun, right? :D Thanks to all those who contributed.
RIP sick mentality!!!

The World is Theirs!
I have always been dubious about quiddity of humans’ existence. They don’t appear real to me, they never have their choice, their births are not of their choice, neither are their lives and deaths. Had it been their choice, most of them would have chosen to be Prophets. The best they do with their lives is either they submit or become appreciably optimistic about it.
They are the manifestation of nature. Nature expresses itself in them
and that is how, I think, idioms like ‘as hard as a rock’ emerged. Anyone who
would counter this concept with the argument that humans are
Ashraf-ul-makhloqaat (greatest of all creations) I will tell you that’s because
when brutality expresses itself it makes bad humans, when bad humans express
brutality they make excruciating things like war. Humans’ ability to make big
differences set them apart otherwise, they are mere expression. I believe that
within the vacuity or deep in the chasm, there are other souls…..souls of
emotions, attributes and all those things we term as ‘non-living’ and from there
positive and negative attributes fill in our
soul and redemption outlines it, we become what nature chooses us to become but
there are chances to ‘expiate’.
Emotions are here ever since the world was created. It all causes our
feelings to be instinctive, we are born with them. For instance, love. It’s not
an invention, it’s a realization that human makes. Had it been an invention, it wouldn't have been felt or lived but only used……used to turn sacrifices into
compromises. lovers
were born and dead, many lie in their graves unrecognized, many stories great
or small were lived, many lives were changed and then they all died with love
in their hearts but, love never dies neither any other emotion does. Love is
eternal; it is reborn in the new beings with their physical births.
World of emotions is eternal and to be more level-headed, world is
theirs. Have humans ever wondered why they are helpless? Because we don’t
choose to feel, feelings choose us for their expression. Great love chooses
great souls, ‘no love’ chooses dark souls and then they live the same stories
over again……we are the puppets of nature spending our live performing the acts
that have been performed by many people before. In the world of today there is
no first time.
.
We are mortal to give the immortal a chance to live over
and over again. Our existence is not real, you know who we are? ………… We are pretence. We are the past pretending to be the present.”
